Gigabot 2: Notes 4 is the fourth and final pack in a four-part collection of NES-style 8-bit sample instruments inspired by the music of Mega Man 2, bringing the series to a close with some of its most memorable stage themes.
This pack draws inspiration from the Air Man and Crash Man stages, capturing their unique musical identities, from Air Man’s tense yet flowing feel to Crash Man’s catchy, upbeat rhythmic style. It includes bright melodic leads, steady bass instruments, and short stab patches for accented phrases, along with a large selection of 8-bit drum sounds for energetic beats.

As with the other packs in the Gigabot series, the samples in this pack make use of the full range of waveform types and pulse widths available on the original hardware, along with several noise frequencies in the drum sounds. There is a greater emphasis on lead instruments featuring vibrato, while the stab sounds include single-wave, layered double-wave, and pseudo-delay styles. The kick, snare, hi-hat, and tom samples together provide a wide range of percussive sound options.
