Gigabot 2: SFX
Gigabot 2: SFX is a collection of NES-style 8-bit sound effects inspired by Mega Man 2, reflecting the expanded range of weapons, gadgets, and mechanical interactions found throughout its stages.
This pack includes a wide range of sound effects such as special weapon sounds, mechanical movements, teleport effects, pause jingles, bonus and pickup sounds, and a bonus set of looping weapon charge effects designed for sustained use.
Each sound effect is provided with several closely related variations, giving you alternate sounds that keep the same character and function. All sounds are created from scratch using original synthesis and sound design techniques, capturing the character of the original hardware without sampling or copying any game audio.

More Sound Info
Many sound effects that appear in Mega Man 2 are also shared with the first Mega Man, and those common sounds are already represented in the original Gigabot SFX pack. For this reason, this collection focuses specifically on sound effects influenced by sounds that were new to or significantly changed for Mega Man 2, allowing this pack to complement the first pack rather than duplicate it.
A large portion of these sound effects are relatively complex for 8-bit sounds, often using rapidly changing pulse waveforms combined with multiple noise frequencies to achieve more detailed mechanical and weapon sounds.
