This pack reflects the distinctive instrument sounds used throughout the game’s journey, from open overworld travel and quiet village moments to tense cave exploration and sudden battle encounters. The instruments are suited for writing flute-led travel themes, slow and weighty dungeon passages, and abrupt shifts into dramatic combat-style note sequences. This instrument pack is notable for not including any drum samples. Nearly all of the instruments are stab sounds (i.e. without sustain), with a range of note lengths and pulse width variations.
While the triangle wave is commonly used for bass roles in many games, the music that inspired this pack often places it in a higher register, where it functions more as a flute-like melodic voice.
