Grappling Man: Notes 1 is the first pack in a two-part collection of NES-style 8-bit sample instruments inspired by the music of Bionic Commando. This pack captures the driving, military style of the game’s action themes, focusing on fast-paced rhythms and urgent melodic movement. It includes sharp, vibrato-rich leads and bass instruments, decaying stabs, and rolling snare drums suited for double-time patterns and classic 8-bit combat themes.

Several of the lead instruments and basses in this pack feature fast vibrato within the samples, most noticeable in the higher frequency ranges, helping to give the music a heightened sense of urgency.
