The samples are organized into five damage-type categories:

  • Slashes & Scratches – noisy swipes from blades, claws, and sharp attacks
  • Blows – bigger, forceful hits from heavy weapons and punches
  • Blunts – dull hits from bats, bricks, and oversized bullets
  • Low Buzzes – short, stinging hits with a low-pitched buzz
  • Moving Tones – painful shifts in pitch after taking damage
