8-Bit Blips is an assortment of short, simple 8-bit sound effect samples, including beeps, blips, blops, and zaps. These high frequency 8-bit sounds can pierce through the mix, making them useful for grabbing attention or enhancing interface sounds with a retro touch.

The 8-bit samples are organized into six sound categories:

  • Arpeggiated - Short, fast arpeggio sounds (key labeled)
  • Zaps - Quick, laser-like frequency sweeps
  • Beeps - Digital interface type sounds
  • Blips Up - Blips that go upward in pitch
  • Blips Down - Blips that go downward in pitch
  • Blips Misc - Unique and quirky blips and blops
